Nice pants, Nice boots!
On Friday 8th May Bristol Beer Factory launched their support for It’s in the Bag and their new artistic T-Shirts at Steak of the Art Bristol.
This extremely entertaining evening was organised by Hannah-Jayne Smith from Steak of the Art, a restaurant with a difference. The evening started with magician Adrian who surprised the guests with his skill and magic. This was followed by an introduction to the evening’s entertainment and a prize draw and then food.
It’s in the Bag was represented by president Richard Bullard, Chair Sue Brand, Fundraising Lead Darren Jones, Secretary Catherine Horler-Underwood and a host of volunteers. IITB also treated two men who had recently completed treatment to a night out.
We were not disappointed by Simon Barlett’s vision of a fashion show with a difference, laughing, clapping and cheering the guys and girls who walked down the catwalk in just pants and t-shirts. The Queen sketch ‘I want to break free’ really did hit the heights on the laughometer! Simon then told us why he was keen to support IITB, together with Sue Brand and Richard Bullard telling everyone a bit about the work IITB do. This was concluded by Steve Bowen thanking everyone and also explaining why SOTA were supporting the cause.
The evening raised a staggering £1,140
