Other Partnerships

Dan Speich from the Graphic Mill was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and approached us to see if there was any way in which he could help. As we try to keep the cost down and volunteer lead Dan and his design skills and help especially with large banners is an absolute brilliant addition to our supporters.

Dan says: “The Graphic Mill supports It’s in the Bag as they wanted to support a local charity in a way that they felt could make a real difference. As a small local business the team wanted to support a charity with a similar ethos and a light hearted approach. It’s in the bag seemed the obvious choice as a member of the team had been diagnosed with TC in 2014 and received support from the charity throughout his treatment and recovery. The Graphic Mill provides It’s in the Bag with banners and portable displays for fundraising and awareness events as well as providing support with graphic production and design.”

Big Yellow

It’s In The Bag is delighted to be working with the Big Yellow Self Storage Company in Bristol Ashton Gate who are kindly supporting us with our activities. Big Yellow is the UK’s favourite self storage company and provide a range of secure storage rooms for homes and businesses which can be accessed seven days a week. Big Yellow have provided us with free storage space, allowing us a safe working environment to collect, store and sort through all of our merchandise, awareness materials and event equipment. Thank you Big Yellow.

This all started when Downsy from the Morning Thing helped to publicise The Wrecking Ball and it has gone from strength to Strength. With their special brand of humour, very much in line with IITB audience, Sam FM help with publicity and also have done interviews. Sam FM are in their infancy and we at IITB wish them luck too.

Aztec Shire

We have been very lucky to have the support of The Aztec Hotel & Spa for a venue to hold our meetings. Being a totally voluntary organisation with out a registered office space, the kind donation of a venue has been very much appreciated. For many reasons this is a brilliant venue, for the convenience of a car park and also close to the M5 & M4

jms rugby

Mike Morgan and Richard Bullard introduced us to JMS Rugby when they introduced a Bath shirt to support Dorothy House Hospice and It’s in the Bag. They have sold hundreds of T-Shirts, Beanies and Scarves with our logo on, but better still each sale gives us money! Thank you JMS Rugby who continue to support us.

Downend Roundtable

Nigel Glasgow approached us as Area Chairman of Roundtable in this area as he had recently completed treatment for Testicular Cancer. They have already donated funds to IITB and also allowed us to do awareness stands at their organised firework displays. Look out for our orange gazebo on 05.11.15 Downend. Thank you Round Table for your support.

Chris Cronin Photography

Chris has supported It’s in the Bag since 2010 when we asked him to take our photographs at the first Testicular Ball. Since then he has, very, very reasonably been our official photographer for The Testicular Ball, Splosh for Dosh, The Wrecking Ball and Grillstock. Chris is clever at keeping our images the way we like them. Thank you Chris.
