Personal Development Weekends

The Bristol Testicular Cancer Service and It’s in the Bag, know that testicular cancer can affect every part of your life and can raise some big questions, such as:

  • How have I been living my life?
  • What really matters?
  • Who am I now that I have finished my treatment?

We think it’s important to consider what things really matter in your life because that can inspire you to improve your health and wellbeing. Together with the Bristol Testicular Cancer Service, we have created a very special weekend called “Taking Charge of your Life” to help you think about how to live well after testicular cancer (Germ Cell).

We know that it can often be hard for men to really put time aside for their personal development and this weekend has been designed just for you.  It will give you the opportunity to think about where you are in your life, where you would like to get to and what you would need to do to get there.

The weekend is led by Tim Snary and Simon Chilcott who are trained facilitators.

It begins on a Friday evening at 6pm and ends Sunday at 4pm and takes place at the gorgeous Aztec Hotel & Spa where It’s in the Bag will pay for your food and accommodation.  You just have to bring yourself, so please plan to join us.

The next courses will be on the following dates…

  • 17th – 19th MAY
  • 1st – 3rd NOVEMBER

If you would like to attend, please speak with your medical team or email germcellnurses@uhbristol.nhs.uk
