It is with great sadness that we have had to postpone The Testicular Ball Extraordinaire until the New Year.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to cancel the ball. This is the first time in its 13 year history we have had to do this, but we are much happier that it is delayed rather than not happening at all.

IT’S A WRAP! – MONSTER SUCCESS TEST FEST
IT’S A WRAP! – MONSTER SUCCESS TEST FEST
TEST FEST MUSIC FESTIVAL – MONSTER SUCCESS!
The sun was shining, the bands were playing and the people just loved the 5th Test Fest. This much loved music festival in Taunton truly had the support of local businesses, performers and families.
With its quirky monster designs, new branding and lots of local talent the crowds flocked in and had a really fun day. Children were treated to a free ticket and a tent all of their own to make sock monsters, Pants Bunting and decorated bright orange pants. Close by was The Drumbus which had many drumming workshops all day, this culminated in a fantastic show by our patron, local entertainer Nutty Noah.
For those there for the music they were not disappointed, so much talent all in one day. Richard Huish College Band, Placeholder kicked off the festival with style, before sailing to perform at The Isle of Wight festival on the Sunday. They were joined by many south west bands including: Bliss, The Mayhaps, The Idle Silence and Thomas Kavanagh. The Jamestown Brothers and Filta really got the party started and the festival was concluded with headliners Stereosonics. In between bands, there was an exceptional duo Peck and Peck who really kept the musical momentum going. Artist Dixon Does Doodles provide a signed image of the stage including monster for the raffle!

Still time for tickets but big increase after midnight Friday 16th June,
TEST FEST UPDATE AND NEWS
TEST FEST UPDATE AND NEWS
After a busy TCAM we are now full on for the Festival. Over the coming weeks we also have some news on new trustee and new company secretary, so watch this space!
We have been working with the college to design some BIG letters for Test Fest and now chosen the winners. Our great panel of judges did really well choosing from 59 entries! Our patron Jon Dixon helped too and has been integral to our artwork lately. Here is a photo of the winners.
Richard Bullard has been busy with his stands and talks we are so very lucky to have him on the team. TCAM could not have been such the success it was without him.
Following our motorway services campaign we were not entirely satisfied with the results so iMedia offered an extra campaign for FREE. Have you spotted them?
Don’t forget to get your tickets!

APRIL IS TCAM AND NOW TYACAM
APRIL IS TCAM AND NOW TYACAM
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month #TCAM however, now we’re proud to work together with our partner charities to launch the first ever Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month #TYACAM
Each year in the UK, 2374 young people aged 16-24 are diagnosed with cancer and must deal with the impact of treatment on top of the difficult challenges that teens and young adults already face. Germ Cell Cancer (Testicular Cancer) is one of the five most commonly diagnosed cancers in males aged 15-25 years.
It’s time to make a change! Together we can break down the barriers and make a for change for all teenagers and young adults with cancer.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month
A big month for It’s in the Bag is April and like so many other charities we are busy spreading the word.
We are focusing on three things:
- Our Match Fit Campaign – where Awareness Lead Richard Bullard has managed to get invited to Bristol & District Cricket leagues’ spring meeting on 20th April. He will have an opportunity to give out 85, yes 85 packs to all the clubs. This is a great opportunity to hand out our new surprise item to the kit.
- Le Tour de Balls Trois – whilst it is a fundraiser the 16 riders are certainly doing their stuff for awareness too. 300 miles in 3 days Cerne Abbass to Bristol. April 30th – May 2nd and a party at The Globe Frampton Cotterell.
- The Test Fest – our biggest awareness event of the year! Great to be back and wonderful new venue. After a two-year gap due to the pandemic, the popular Test Fest is back. Event organisers It’s in the Bag have moved to a new venue at Taunton Rugby Club and welcome Cornish headliners Wille and The Bandits and support from Danny McMahon. Taking place on Saturday 18th June 2022 at 12 noon to midnight this is a unique music festival to the UK.
If you don’t know how to check your balls here’s how! Just scan here.

The Winter Testicular Ball was a fantastic celebration of everything that It’s in the Bag does. We started with a video of how we coped during the pandemic, gave out some Golden Pants Awards, here with the Support Award The Bristol Testicular Cancer Service.
Everyone who attended had a fabulous time and we are so grateful to all the organisational team and especially Graphic Mill & Out of Hand
We completed the evening with Testicle Twinning with South African based Testicular Cancer Charity Love Your Nuts (Video coming soon).

Sue & Bill Brand attended Exeter Chiefs Season Launch Dinner on 14th October meeting other charities, Will Greenwood and some of the women’s team.
This week children’s author Claire Freedman joins #TEAMIITB as a patron. Known for her wonderful books Aliens Love Underpants we first approached her at the beginning of the pandemic to sign some books for families going through chemotherapy, and to our surprise she said yes.
This month we said goodbye to Trustee and Vice President Nigel Williams who stepped down after his move to Dorset. We wish him well in his new home and thank him for all his hard work and support over the last six years.
However, we say hello to Edd Smith who has just joined the team as Trustee for fundraising and income generation. Director of Caring for Bristol he will be an asset to the team. Welcome Edd.
