Our chair Michael Perry (pictured far left) was delighted to meet Nick Cunningham and Kylie Lewis from NHBC last week, at the golf course where the NHBC charity day raised over £12,000 for It’s in the Bag Cancer Support.
That is a huge amount, representing an amazing achievement by NHBC staff; it will be truly significant in helping us deliver our vital services and we would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone involved.
We should also mention that this is the second year that NHBC have raised funds for us, and we are immensely grateful for this ongoing support. We hope you’ve enjoyed the golf in the process, even when the February weather has been, well, February weather!
It was also a great opportunity for Michael, and colleague Tim Snary (far right) to raise awareness about checking for the signs of testicular cancer – if it’s detected early, the chances of survival are very high.
