Forget Le Tour de France, what about Le Tour de Balls?
Le Tour de Balls is our key fundraising event for 2016 but along the way our brave cyclists will be raising awareness of testicular cancer by touring the South West of England and visiting referring hospitals to the Bristol Testicular Cancer Service. Taking place 30th April – 2nd May 2016.
A team of 24 experienced riders, will cycle 300 miles in 3 days. This wonderful group are made up of cancer survivors, their families, doctors and great It’s in the Bag supporters.
To do this we have a South and North Route.
South Route: Penzance, Truro, Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Barnstaple, Taunton, Weston Super Mare and then Bristol.
North route, starting in Bristol, Hereford, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath, Yeovil, Weston Super Mare and then Bristol.
The event will culminate with a final ride on Bank Holiday Monday (2nd May 2016) and a big party at Hallen Football Club

OFFICIAL TOUR CHASERS – WE NEED YOU!
As many of you know Le Tour de Balls is the biggest event that It’s in the Bag have staged with our team of 24 cyclists covering most of the South West of England.
What do we need from you?
We are looking for OFFICIAL TOUR CHASERS to support the cyclists, cheer them on and get friends and family doing the same. The cyclists will need your support to carry on the arduous task of getting back on the bike the next day and doing it all over again.
Where do I need to live to support the Tour?
The OFFICIAL TOUR CHASERS we would like to mirror the route, so we are looking for volunteers from:
South – Penzance, Truro, Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Barnstaple and Taunton.
North – Hereford, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath, Trowbridge, Frome and Yeovil.
Both teams will be meeting in Weston Super Mare and cycling to Bristol so would be good to have loads of people there.
What can I do?
Each person who signs up as an OFFICIAL TOUR CHASER will be sent a pack to help you to do your job and support the riders.
In it will be:
- Road Banners
- T-Shirts
- Thunder-sticks
- A Collection Tin and Bucket
- Details of the route and times
- Recipe for Flapjacks (favourite food of cyclists)
- FREE invite to the finale party at Hallen FC on Monday 2nd May
