It's in the volunteering

All charity organisations need volunteers and It’s in the Bag is no different – we simply couldn’t exist without our volunteers. Our projects are only made possible due to the passion and dedication of people like you!

We want you to have a ball while doing something positive for men’s health, but also if you feel It’s in the Bag supported you during your diagnosis and treatment, you might want to give back.

No matter how much, or how little, time you have spare, you can make a difference. You could help us run an awareness stall at a festival or fair or, if you’d like to do a bit more, why not talk to our team.

Stands and events

As part of our Awareness aims we often need volunteers to help with stands and events. This could be handing out self-checking cards, selling merchandise or even taking part in a parade. Our volunteers love talking about balls and people listen. You might have been diagnosed with testicular cancer and have first-hand experience of what that feels like. This gives you a unique perspective on the disease and this can help others to understand why we raise awareness. Why not take a look at our social media platforms and see the work we do?

Behind the Scenes

Being a volunteer-run charity we often have volunteer roles behind the scenes. These could be administration, finance, media, planning or helping to send out packs and letters for us.

If you are someone who would like to help the charity but not sure about our face-to-face contact, this could be for you. Contact us and see if you can help.

Golden Pants Awards

The Golden Pants Awards are our way of saying thank you to our volunteers and supporters. The awards take place every 18 months to 2 years at one of our main events. We like to recognise those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
